Honest question

Posted by L3M0NG3N1S1S - 3 hours ago

Should I try making an animation AND giving myself a deadline? I’ve never done well with deadlines, or animation, so I wanna challenge myself, and maybe try learning something new. So honest answers only, should I try?

No. At least, not until you have some experience with working over pressure.

Putting yourself over a deadline for making something without being experienced enough in making that something isn't a good idea.

Having self-confidence is important, but it's also important to be realistic with ourselves - without experience, you'll probably end up getting frustrated sooner or later, so honestly, continue keeping things easy and without haste seems to be the best option to me, at the moment.

Daww, tysm for the response!! I do actually have a bit of experience with a deadline, but that’s just with homework and packets, I don’t know if that really counts though. Plus, I don’t really hand a bunch of confidence, so, like you said, I don’t really think I’ll do good with deadlines, lol. Again, tysm for the advice!!!
